On June 15th, GEYC organized an online meeting with several youth workers, during which they presented the Guide for digital education created under the framework of our project. The guide contains very useful information for youth workers and educators who want to integrate digital tools into their work.
Along with the presentation of the intellectual output, they also introduced the GEYC-ID, a unique identification number that each member of the GEYC Community receives when they register to the Facebook group. To receive the ID, the members have to give information about their studies, profession, name, volunteering experience, etc. This makes it easy for them to apply to mobility projects, because they don’t have to fill in a long form every time: from now on, they just have to insert their GEYC-ID and the motivation for each specific project. Based on their ID, GEYC will know who the person is and they will be able to better match the participant with the target group of each project.
This initiative was inspired by our Youth Workers 2.0 project; GEYC wants to become more and more digital and to integrate digital practices in their work.
