Asociación EuropeYou had the pleasure to present to young people in Torremolinos, Spain its new KA2 Strategic Partnership “Youth Workers 2.0” (YW2.0), focused on the improvement of youth workers’ knowledge of usage of different digital tools. During the workshop were presented the main project objectives and upcoming activities of YW2.0, as well as the partner organizations involved in the consortium. All together we discussed the importance of digital skills for young people for their professional and personal life, as well as the importance of digital competence for youth workers and educators who are working with low skilled youth in the context of digital learning environment.
The event was a great opportunity for us to understand the opinion of the young people regarding the topics they would like to read and learn from YW2.0 project. Through different brainstorming activities we identified some current issues for youth related to digital education that will be taken in consideration once we start the elaboration of our first activity, mainly the two digital surveys that consortium planned to create. One will target the youth workers working with low skilled youth, and the other survey is targeting our indirect target group, the low skilled youth themselves.
